About me

I’m Cameron Misplon. I’m a software engineer in Cape Town, and Codewright is the name I work under.

I’ve spent my career building software that real people depend on: systems with actual users and actual money moving through them, where mistakes are noticed quickly. Codewright is me taking that same care to smaller businesses, who usually get either a cheap template or an agency quote they can’t justify.

I work on my own. That means you deal with me from the first email to the last fix, and nothing gets lost being passed between people. It also means I’m not the right choice if you need a large team to start next week, or support at three in the morning. I’d rather say that now than after you’ve signed.

My prices are low on purpose. I’ve built a solid, reusable setup for the parts every site needs, and I’d rather win work by being clearly good value than by being good at sales.

A few things I hold to

You own everything. The code, the hosting and every account are in your name from the start. If you ever want to move to another developer, nothing is locked to me.

I’ll tell you when you don’t need me. If a template or an off-the-shelf product would do the job, I’ll point you to it.

You can see the work as it happens. There’s a private link from the first week, and a short written update every week.
